In this episode, we install LED headlights and fog lights in my 2018 F-150. In the first episode, I said that the OEM halogen headlights were a liability. As such, I simply refuse to drive the truck at night. Some new LEDs should help to solve the problem.

Everything was ordered from Stage3Motorsports. We installed:

• Diode Dynamics LED headlights, $120.00

• Diode Dynamics LED fog lights, $70.40

These are a pretty easy install, and there are plenty of how-to videos on YouTube already.

The difference is “night and day”. Both, the headlights and fog lights, are super bright, but I’m not too impressed with the color difference between the two. It’s hard to see in the video, but they’re not the same – the headlights are a little cooler whereas the fog lights have some green in them.

In short, I definitely feel a lot safer driving the truck at night now and both of these are almost a mandatory upgrade.
